On June 6, Untamed Chef LLC began the search for a new owner.
The Peoria restaurant remains open for business in the meantime. Its listing on Crexi notes that the owner intends to remain at the business until after a new owner is found and settled to ensure “a smooth transition.”
Owners Rebecca and Bryce Hearn declined an interview with the Journal Star for this story, but the listing said the owners were planning for retirement.

The business, which offers dinners, catering and interactive cooking events, is listed for $325,000. The price includes the 2,400-square-foot space, commercial equipment, inventory, assets and on-site gaming. The restaurant also features a seasonal patio space.
According to the listing, Untamed Chef is located in a high-traffic area and will offer a “positive cashflow” for a future owner.
“Great opportunity for the next owner to take all the guesswork out of testing the market – The market LOVES this place!” the listing states.
